Company away day in the Tarn
The away day is the format that gets decided in a single meeting: no accommodation to organise, no budget to push three levels up, no travel that eats into the day. €800 for the whole estate, from 8 am to 6 pm, fifteen minutes from Castres and an hour from Toulouse.
What €800 gets you
- The whole estate, privately — never two groups at once. No other meeting next door, nobody walking through during a wrap-up.
- 305 m² of indoor space: a 60 m² meeting room, a 140 m² flexible room, a 55 m² sitting room with an open fire, a 50 m² dining room. Work in one, break in another.
- 30 hectares outdoors, of which 22 are woodland with paths, plus a private lake, grounds and a swimming pool — enough for a walking session or an afternoon outside.
- A professional kitchen, so your caterer works on site.
- Wi-Fi, flipchart, free parking, heating in winter.
Why a day out of the office actually works here
Four separate spaces mean a day can have a shape: plenary in the meeting room, breakout groups in the 140 m² room, a walk in the woods when attention drops, lunch at the long table rather than at the same desks. That is harder to do in a hotel meeting room, and it is the whole point of leaving the office.
Being fifteen minutes from Castres also means nobody loses the day to travel, someone can go back to the office if something urgent comes up, and a site visit beforehand fits into a lunch break.
Catering, left to you
Meals are not included, and that is deliberate. The kitchen is professional, so you can bring the caterer you want, have a private chef come for the day, or simply organise the team. We take no commission and impose no board. Budget €55 to €100 per person per day for catering locally, appreciably less if you cook. We can introduce you to local caterers if you would rather not go looking.
Options, on request
These are options: tell us at the time of booking which ones you would like and we will price them in your quote.
- A caterer or private chef — yours, or one of our local contacts.
- The rooms configured before you arrive: U-shape, islands, theatre, circle. Send the plan, you walk in and start.
- Projector and screen.
- Arrival the evening before, so the team starts at 9 am without having driven at 7. This is the option most away-day clients end up taking.
- An arrival basket: the shopping done before the team gets here.
- Transfers from Castres station or Toulouse-Blagnac airport.
- An introduction to a facilitator, a coach or a hiking guide in the Sidobre.
- Quotation, hire agreement and company invoicing.
If the day turns into a night
